I am your host, Thor the Barbarian.
My heroic persona is the product of my mythic Greek heritage and the lurid heroic fantasy
pulps of the early 70’s.
When I was a youth I never contemplated becoming a fireman, policeman or doctor like the other kids.
I always wanted to be a barbarian hero, a savage son of Hercules adventuring in the strange hinterlands of our reality.
And so it came to pass.
Throughout my life I've investigated the paranormal and celebrated the unusual. As an adult I've battled
monstrous social conditions through my various careers. In 1998 my odyssey in multimedia began: Guest Hosting ‘Uniquely
You Now’ and Co-Hosting ‘The Enchanted Self’ led to appearances on radio and NJN’s ‘JobCast’.
My quirky TV show premiered in 2000. I have since appeared, as myself, in everything from puppet shows
to indy films.
My mission is to empower individuals, celebrate creative self-expression and facilitate the actualization
of dreams. In my wanderings artefacts of the mythic imagination in popular culture become talismanic icons and the Waking
World a surreal Dreamscape. My entertainment platforms are showcases for strange talents, forums for unique perspectives and,
above all, an open invitation to adventure.
