My first appearance in the comics - sort of
- was in 2001. I partially inspired Thoran the Barbarian, a character in R.S. Dyer's series 'The Lesser Ones' which premiered
in Distant Voices #0. Ron's other inspirations for Thoran were Conan and Fafhrd.
A few years later our comic strip 'The Barbarians' ran in NYC's BIG News
as part of the Age of Heroes multimedia initiative. 'The Barbarians' was drawn by my wife Muninn and was based on
actual events in our lives. In the strip below I commune with my Inner Carnivores.
