Age of Heroes

Within us all is a unique Greatness. All of us were granted divine gifts at birth. And a grand Destiny lies ahead for anyone willing to follow their path. The Age of the Victim is finally over. It is time for the Age of Heroes to begin.

The Way of the Hero posits that one must utilize one's unique strengths to make one's immediate world a better place. One need not be 'perfect' either. Are not the heroes that inspire us often tragically flawed? Does this prevent them from accomplishing great things?

The Age of Heroes has harnessed the creative energy and focused the attention of many heroic individuals with radically diverse backgrounds over the years. We've had barbarians and wizards, CSWs and PhDs, educators and entertainers, human services workers and techies, service providers and service recipients, devout Catholics, Jewish mystics, born-again Christians, die-hard Agnostics, Wiccans, neo-Pagans and UFO abductees working together on diverse social projects. We even had two vampires, a werewolf and a couple of Satanists lending a hand when we really needed one.

Currently we are championing literacy in Northeastern Pennsylvania. There are a handful of Mythic Initiatives we're launching in the months ahead and we would love it if you could join us. We'll be informing you of our progress and recruiting for new Age of Heroes endeavors in these pages, so stay tuned!

The old days may be behind us, but before us a glorious future currently unfolds!

Hercules Invictus seeks to usher in the Age of Heroes through  Quests and Mythic Initiatives.

Join us each month as we learn about a famous hero and explore the quality that makes them great. History, myth, legend and fiction provide us with many examples of outstanding individuals with exceptional abilities.

What's your extraordinary ability? Perhaps it's time to find out...

In February we start our journey by learning all about Hercules, an ancient Greek hero best known for his great Strength. Hear all about his many adventures, and learn how to better use your own physical power through fun activities. We'll also meet other strong heroes like Samson and Superman.
