Cael is the young captain of the Barbarian Legion, he has successfully completed many missions for King Conan, the Aquilonian guard, and for the peace between many countries. During one of his first missions he managed to get his hands on a sword of demonic origin, beleiving this weapon can help the legions cause he continues to wield it (it has possessed him twice since). During one of his many missions he was slain, only to greet life again a moment later and sever the head of his killer, Cael wears this beast's skull on his left shoulder. The one on his other shoulder is that of a ferocious snow devil.
   

Cael was but a child when he started to head for Conan's Kingdom to seek a life out for himself. On the way he met an older man who tought him to do battle, Cael stayed with this man for 3 years until the old man died of disease. On his way south he found a temple, upon entering he accidentally released Rune the Vampire Demigod (The Soup as Cael calls him) and slew every priest, and sorcerer after he found the captive Cimmerians that had been his friends. With the help of Rune and his sword from Hell he escaped and enlisted in the Barbarian Legion of Conan and began his life as an adventurer.
