Northern Shem: The Hyborian Age: Arrogant Turanians
seek to crush the spirit of proud Zuagir tribesman who, quite understandably, fight back. Thieving Zuagirs disrupt Turanian
commercial interests, so they must be crushed.
The conflict is old, older than the reigns of Yildiz
and Yestigerd. The protagonists in this round: Mahath Agha of Turan vs. the Zuagir prince Bahim Baal. Unbenownst to both a
third power has entered their harsh desert arena: a Kezankian man-ape named Hanuman who fancies himself a god. Quartered with
his primitive kin in an ancient ruin, Hanuman preys upon nearby Zuagir settlements as a prelude to his rise to glory.
Hither come your Player Characters. There is a
princess to rescue, savage beasts to subdue, foul wizardry afoot and the spoils of war to reap... a worthy adventure
for Hyborian heroes.
Though situated in Shem, this adventure is easily
adapted to any setting in the Age of Conan where civilization clashes with barbarism, there are ancient ruins nearby and man-apes
abound (a very versatile scenario).
