Nobles continuously vie amongst themselves for supremacy and care little for the 'little people' who get caught in the cross-fire. It is their way...

Those lower in the pecking order grin and bear it, or grumble on occasion. Only when things get totally out of control and death is preferable to living in continued oppression do the people revolt, throwing off the choking stranglehold of the nobles' yolk.

Such a day has finally come to the small Corinthian city of Nahab during the strife-filled Hyborian Age. The warring Nobles have started devastating the land itself and outraging the citizens beyond all endurance. The people's beloved religious leader, Father Tericos Heretio, a priest of Mitra, has been cruelly slain under mysterious circumstances, depriving his flock of what little hope they held on to during difficult times. And then the plagues started, and finally... the Lurking Terror attacked... and attacked... and attacked.

Is this Mitra's Wrath as the priests proclaim, or is this a very clever power-play in the unceasing struggle of the Nobles to control Nahab's natural resources and favorable geographic location? Or is it something else undreamed of? Remember, we are in the Hyborian Age, where magic not only works but corrupts the caster.

It is up to you and your heroic band to find out, and finally put a stop to it.
