As visual aides, Muninn created display
boards on different aspects of the bats. Some were from photographs, but other display boards featured original cartoons
and artwork. During her talk on bats, Muninn used the boards to show the audience more about bats.

MEET YOUR NEIGHBORS!
Our first display board featured
the bats native to Pennsylvania. Since we were encouraging our audience to build bat houses, we wanted them to be familiar
with our local bats. The board listed information about each bat and demystified them.

BAT CELEBRITIES
Know any famous bats? Almost everyone has heard of Batman,
but how about Bat Fink? This fun display board featured Celebrity Bats from children's cartoons, films, TV shows, and books.
Some of our prizes included books from Kenneth Oppel's Silverwing series and Stellaluna. The audience
also learned more about bat rescue and conservation from Bat Sanctuary's spokes-bat, Bootsana. We even made Bat Conservation
International's Merlin Tuttle an "Honorary Bat" for his conservation efforts and incredible bat photography!
BAT MYTHS
People have a lot of misconceptions about bats and on our
Bat Myths board we explored some of the most common myths. Bats are not rodents, do not get tangled in people's hair,
are not blind, are not dirty, and aren't a leading carrier of rabies (dogs and cats are more likely to carry rabies), and
not all of them drink blood! All of these cartoons were created especially for Bat Fest 2008 by Muninn.
